Non In Posa
Galleria Bellucci by Federico Bellucci hosts the artist and collegue Giuseppe Cocorocchia's photogallery.
Photos, realized with smartphone Huawei P20 Pro, capture moments and charachters stolen in the street. Places are in Nolo, most in via Padova, that the artist lives and frequents and he give us small glimpses; but the first and real charachter is always people: common people trapped between their everyday life, fighting and taking blows from life, the resume of these "so marginalized existences, but so alive, tempered by pain, authentic and courageous, that I search in my photo shoots, not forgetting irony (learned from the great Charlie Chaplin) that pervades everything and finally remember us that life is a hard adventure, but not serious".
The event aims to be really suggestive, since photos are presented in a location full of old furnitures, produced from 1500 to 1800. Therefore in this place is emphasized the existing contrast between contemporary art, represented by photo shoots, and antique, showed by furnitures. The nobility of antique pieces and frames reproduces a disorienting space-time glitch for the visitor, leaving him vulnerable, just for a while, in front of this swirling and multidimensional suction, so that he will feel like floating in two separate levels. Out of being the first Giuseppe Cocorocchia's exhibition, this is the first Galleria Bellucci antique furniture show. Stay tuned!
